Nisim
Nisim offers a range of products including hair care products such as shampoo and conditioner, which are based on DHT blocker technology. But they also offer some unique offerings including combs and brushes, scalp and hair extracts and laser combs all designed to defend against hair loss and improve overall hair health.
All natural herbal extracts keep the side effect issues experienced by some products to a minimum. The range of products offers a comprehensive system of hair care that supports the nature of improving hair health.
How it Works
DHT blockers work at the androgen receptor level in the scalp to stop the impact of dihydrotestosterone or DHT. DHT stops the replacement growth of hair, which is necessary to keep up with the daily shedding that occurs naturally. The DHT also minimizes the existing hair follicle in a patterned area, which includes the top of the head and the forehead, or hairline area. This combines to create what is commonly known as male pattern baldness.
Since this is a process that begins with testosterone, which has been attached by 5AR (alpha-reductase) enzymes the solution is best for men and in particular men still in the growth phase of the hair cycle.
Female pattern baldness can sometimes be helped with natural based DHT blockers, but when the products use chemical DHT blockers they can be hazardous for women.
Company Information
Nisim International is a Canadian company that has been selling products since 1993. They currently sell products in salons all over the world and are in 30 countries.
They offer a number of brands within their product lines that are focused on hair loss defense and improvement of hair quality.
Benefits
This is an herbal extract, which provides limited side effects and is safer than the use of chemical DHT blockers. The range of innovative approaches including hair combs and brushes can provide a comprehensive hair health system.
The use of all natural shampoos and conditions that clear the scalp of DHT and other residue can be helpful in the regrowth of hair. Since this is a natural based product it is less likely to have any lasting harmful effects.
Recommendation
Some of the products seem innovative and bringing in hair care tools as well seems well conceived. The laser comb seems a bit too futuristic and a bit scary. The use of herbal extracts is always preferred to chemical or pharmaceutical options. We have ranked this product as our 9 out of 10 ranked products. There seem to be other strong contenders in the natural DHT blocker product parade, and while they do offer some unique ideas but some seem to be a bit too wacky to be as effective as those that are higher in the ranking list.
